Clarifications about SASW Membership and Accreditation Membership with SASW is not equivalent to accreditation as a Registered Social Worker-Provisional (RSW-P), Registered Social Worker (RSW) or Registered Social Service Practitioner (RSSP). It is not necessary for a person to be a member of SASW in order to be accredited and vice-versa. The objectives and benefits of accreditation and how to apply for accreditation as a RSW-P, RSW and RSSP are available at http://accreditation.sasw.org.sg Normally, a person who is eligible for ordinary membership will meet the criteria for accreditation as a RSW-P or RSW.
